What are freckles?

Most freckles form as a result of sun exposure and sunburns. They can appear on anyone who doesn’t protect themselves from UV rays. They show up on your face, the back of your hands, and upper body. This type tends to be most common amongst people with lighter skin tones and hair color.

Mine started forming in my early teen years and although it took a while for me accept them, i finally did.

"A girl without freckles is like the sky without stars." This was my favorite quote growing up until i realized it really didn't matter how the next person looked because we're all different and beautiful in our own ways.
